Kelsey Bascom wrote Quarter based on her own experiences as a young woman living with Type 1 diabetes, with the intent of creating an intimate and very personal film, that also raises awareness for T1D, that is often misunderstood and certainly misrepresented in film and television.

The film has a strong message of female empowerment, finding your voice and learning to overcome whatever obstacle, or in this case disease, life throws at you.
